Key Responsibilities

  • •Customs clearance: manage import timing, ensure compliance with regulations, and coordinate with forwarders, carriers, and customs broker
  • •Export: prepare shipping documents and ensure return procedures comply with destination regulations
  • •Compliance: oversee local testing and label management to align with regulatory requirements
  • •Inventory & Pricing management: supervise data flows between systems, stock adjustments, and accurate pricing with import duties in mind
  • •Audit and reporting: monitor duties with customs broker and provide documentation for monthly closing; support expense analysis

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10 years of professional experience in customs clearance and inventory management at multi-national companies, preferably in retail or fashion apparel
  • •Strong communication skills with proven ability to foster collaborative relationships with other departments, 3PL and headquarters
  • •Preferable experience in executing customs audits, wholly or partially
  • •Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities
  • •Highly self-driven and capable of working autonomously while maintaining a service-oriented mindset
