Job Summary

Support Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls for Regina-area stations, terminals, and gathering systems. Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install, and commission electrical equipment including PLCs, instrumentation, motor control centers, switchgear, VFDs, and HVAC systems. Apply Canadian Electrical Code requirements, inspect and test instruments to diagnose faults, complete maintenance records, and provide on-call emergency support while helping optimize and improve reliability.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install, and commission electrical equipment such as PLCs, instrumentation, motor control centers, motors, switchgear, VFDs, MOVs, and HVACs.
•Inspect and test instruments and systems to diagnose faults using electrical and electronic devices.
•Use manufacturer manuals, circuit diagrams, and blueprints to determine tests and maintenance procedures.
•Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and complete written/electronic maintenance records (work orders, reports, calibration sheets, time entry, material requests, drawings).
•Provide on-call support during non-business hours for emergency response and maintenance break-ins, and contribute technical input for operations, projects, and turnarounds.

Key Requirements

•Certified Interprovincial Electrical Journeyperson or dual-ticketed as an Instrumentation and Control Technician.
•5–10 years of prior gas plant, refinery, pipeline, or oilfield experience.
•Strong PLC experience is considered an asset.
•Basic computer skills, including computerized maintenance management systems (Maximo preferred) and MS Word/Excel/Outlook.
•Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and optimization skills with a focus on safety; valid driver’s license and cleared criminal history.
