Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform technical inspections of heavy equipment, tactical vehicles, and material handling equipment during turn-in processing.
  • •Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; perform preventive and corrective maintenance per Army TMs and regulations.
  • •Repair and service engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspension, and hydraulic systems; maintain and service MHE such as forklifts, cranes, and loaders.
  • •Document inspections, maintenance, and repairs using Army-approved forms and systems; maintain work orders, parts requisitions, and job completion records in line with ISO 9001:2015 QMS.
  • •Follow OSHA, Army, and company safety standards, including PPE use and HAZMAT handling/storage/disposal; support turn-in operations and condition coding.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) and technical training in heavy equipment or military maintenance preferred.
  • •3–5 years of experience as a mechanic on military or heavy equipment.
  • •Knowledge of U.S. Army maintenance standards and technical manuals, including PMCS.
  • •Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; read and interpret TMs, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • •Ability to operate MHE and obtain Army licensing (OF 346) as required; must bring/use own tools.
