Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare feasibility studies, outline design, detailed design and construction support for water projects
  • •Produce plant layouts, design drawings and mechanical plant selections including specifications, WIMES data sheets, valve schedules and P&IDs
  • •Liaise with water and other discipline teams (civil, electrical, process, mechanical) nationwide
  • •Visit sites to carry out surveys and liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers
  • •Attend and contribute to design reviews (HAZOP, HAZID, ALM, SWIFT) and mentorJunior/Graduate engineers

Key Requirements

  • •A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
  • •Progress towards Chartered Engineer status (e.g., IMechE)
  • •Proven ability to deliver engineering designs, reports, drawings, specifications and calculations
  • •Hands-on experience delivering water and wastewater engineering projects
  • •Ability to deliver plant layouts, P&IDs, equipment schedules and calculations for Water Projects
