Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and shape global internal/external communications strategy aligned to Zendesk’s business objectives and AI-enabled positioning.
  • •Provide day-to-day strategic communications counsel to the C-suite and senior leaders, including speeches, talking points, and media/analyst preparation.
  • •Own enterprise internal communications for mission-critical initiatives such as product launches, org change, M&A, and major announcements.
  • •Direct external reputation programs including media relations, thought leadership, and public relations campaigns.
  • •Lead crisis and issues communications by developing playbooks and rapid response protocols in coordination with Legal, Investor Relations, and HR.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 320,000 - 480,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of communications experience, including enterprise/internal communications and external PR/analyst relations.
  • •5+ years leading and scaling global, cross-functional communications teams (or equivalent agency leadership).
  • •Experience advising and preparing C-suite executives for high-stakes stakeholder interactions.
  • •Proven media/PR track record producing measurable lifts in analyst recommendations, coverage quality, and/or share of voice.
  • •Demonstrated AI literacy, including comfort using AI tools for drafting, ideation, research, measurement, and assessing risks.
