Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the Owner’s technical representative, ensuring EPC contractor compliance with designs, specifications, QMS/HSE requirements, and project contracts.
  • •Review and approve mechanical designs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, hydraulic calculations, and vendor documentation.
  • •Monitor construction progress with site inspections, verify installation quality, and track schedule deviations; witness FAT, SAT, commissioning, and reliability/performance guarantee tests.
  • •Assess change requests, claims, deviations, and support technical decision-making for the Owner.
  • •Conduct technical due diligence and deliver due diligence/LTA reports, construction monitoring updates, and risk assessments for lenders, off-takers, and investors.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •5–10 years of relevant experience in water, wastewater, or desalination projects.
  • •Experience working in/with Middle East markets (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain).
  • •Strong understanding of PPP, BOOT, BOO, IWP, IWPP, ISTP procurement frameworks.
  • •Experience preparing or reviewing Technical Due Diligence, LTA Reports, or Independent Engineer Reports.
