Job Summary

Provide technical support for relay maintenance by reviewing and investigating system operations to identify corrective actions. Coordinate testing programs to ensure preventative maintenance tasks meet internal and external requirements, support commissioning and checkout for new relay systems, and make minor design changes to settings or systems. Also support maintenance and replacement of communication devices such as RTUs and DFRs across the state.

•Coordinate testing programs to ensure PM tasks are completed per internal and external requirements.
•Support relay maintenance personnel with commissioning and checkout of new relay systems and equipment.
•Prepare minor design changes to settings or systems to support ongoing operation.
•Support maintenance and replacement of communication devices such as RTUs and DFRs throughout the state.

•Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
•2+ years of utility experience with knowledge of protective relaying or substation and power plant control schemes (new grads welcome).

•Strong analytical, decision-making, communication, and human relations skills.
•Ability to support maintenance problems for relay maintenance operations.
