Job Summary

Serve as a global Subject Matter Expert for finishing equipment, providing advanced technical leadership for pelletizers, extruders, mixers, gearboxes, solids conveying equipment, and support systems. Drive improvements through troubleshooting, mitigation, and resolution of urgent machinery issues, and support major overhauls and incident investigations (including RCFA). Create and maintain machinery standards, guidelines, and specifications, mentor others in SME areas, and contribute to companywide improvement and purchasing initiatives while traveling up to ~20%.

•Champion Process Safety, Occupational Safety, and Operational Excellence culture.
•Provide corporate SME support for finishing equipment, leading strategic efforts to drive continuous improvement enterprise-wide.
•Deliver technical leadership to manufacturing sites and projects across equipment design, installation, commissioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
•Support incident investigations and RCFA, participate in Operational Excellence audits, and assist with machinery-related corporate purchasing initiatives.
•Author and maintain machinery standards and specifications, and mentor/train personnel in SME expertise areas.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
•Minimum 6 years of experience in a petrochemical facility maintaining finishing equipment and associated support systems.
•Experience supporting/leading execution of finishing equipment major overhauls.
•Strong working knowledge of machinery industry standards (e.g., API, ANSI, ISO) for design, analysis, re-rating, and alteration.
•Familiarity with condition monitoring systems such as vibration analysis and lubrication analysis; vibration analysis certification is desirable.
