Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and lead the design process, delivering the right solutions to the programme and mentoring less experienced team members
  • •Take a key technical leadership role on multi-disciplinary design projects from concept to detailed design, coordinating with Architects, Engineers and consultants
  • •Participate in tender bids and business development opportunities as they arise
  • •Agree fees and manage the commercial position on projects
  • •Exercise independent judgement and resolve technical issues

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or HNC/HND qualification in a relevant discipline
  • •Chartered or following a path to Chartership
  • •Solid experience in Civil & Structural detailed design
  • •Detailed working knowledge of national codes and standards
  • •Experience with structural design software packages such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds; CAD software such as Revit would be beneficial
