Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed structural analyses and design per design basis, project specifications, design codes, and standards.
  • •Prepare detailed design calculations and analyses, including design reports and procedures.
  • •As Lead Engineer, direct medium to large engineering teams and lead discipline design delivery within schedule and budget; forecast and plan resource requirements.
  • •Ensure interfaces and deliverables are identified; represent the discipline in meetings and coordinate with engineering, construction/fabrication, and project management teams.
  • •Train/mentor engineers and designers; supervise checks, reviews, vendor data, and deliverables (e.g., MTOs, specifications, subcontracts, and bid evaluations).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree or master's degree in engineering.
  • •20+ years of oil and gas experience with a major contractor or consultants performing detail design.
  • •Preferably a Registered Professional Engineer or member of a professional engineering society as applicable.
  • •Strong knowledge of engineering standards, specifications, and structural engineering.
  • •Good knowledge of engineering software; able to work independently and communicate effectively in English.
