Job Summary

Solve unique, complex structural engineering problems with broad impact across oil and gas projects. Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed analyses and design to project specifications, design codes, and standards, producing clear calculations, reports, and technical deliverables. As Lead Engineer, direct engineering teams, forecast resources, manage discipline execution, and coordinate interfaces with project teams, vendors, and certifying authorities while training and mentoring others.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed structural analyses and design per design basis, project specifications, design codes, and standards.
•Prepare detailed design calculations and analyses, including design reports and procedures.
•As Lead Engineer, direct medium to large engineering teams and lead discipline design delivery within schedule and budget; forecast and plan resource requirements.
•Ensure interfaces and deliverables are identified; represent the discipline in meetings and coordinate with engineering, construction/fabrication, and project management teams.
•Train/mentor engineers and designers; supervise checks, reviews, vendor data, and deliverables (e.g., MTOs, specifications, subcontracts, and bid evaluations).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or master's degree in engineering.
•20+ years of oil and gas experience with a major contractor or consultants performing detail design.
•Preferably a Registered Professional Engineer or member of a professional engineering society as applicable.
•Strong knowledge of engineering standards, specifications, and structural engineering.
•Good knowledge of engineering software; able to work independently and communicate effectively in English.
