Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor SIEM, trouble tickets/email notifications, escalations, and logs from ICS infrastructure components and network/security devices.
  • •Design, implement, test Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) processes and troubleshoot automation capabilities.
  • •Examine escalated tickets to identify true positives vs. false positives; act as an L2 escalation layer in the SOC.
  • •Perform malware analysis, threat hunting, and threat modeling; assist forensic investigations and provide reports as needed.
  • •Mentor Level 1 SOC analysts and create manuals/guides/knowledge base entries while recommending improvements to controls, tuning detections, and remediation workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or electronics).
  • •3+ years’ experience in a cyber security SOC industry and 5+ years in Information Technology.
  • •Strong diagnostic and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex security issues and manage priorities.
  • •Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • •ITIL Foundations plus security certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, GCIH, or similar; experience automating/integrating with Python and using Splunk or Chronicle SIEM/logging solutions.
