Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead responsibility for the Tool Room area.
  • •Provide technical support for tool crib cutting tools and support production and maintenance when parts are damaged or require manufacturing and repair.
  • •Assemble and adjust tools as required; perform tool tests to implement improvements in the process.
  • •Review and ensure tooling designs meet customer and plant expectations.
  • •Drive 5S in the area and manage/tooling disposals and documentation updates/reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Intermediate English with conversational level.
  • •Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • •Intermediate Office and Oracle knowledge.
  • •Knowledge of 3D design and ability to use SolidWorks.
  • •Experience with CNC and transfer machining, metal-mechanical manufacturing, and designing/building fixtures (mordazas, escantillones).
