Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide senior-level technical leadership, guidance, and support to the structural design team and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • •Lead structural design delivery from concept through detailed design and construction, advising clients across design and construction phases.
  • •Perform quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings and prepare technical specification sections.
  • •Mentor and support engineers and designers through design development, technical problem-solving, and review processes.
  • •Oversee drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with relevant standards, project requirements, and quality management processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Engineering with 15+ years delivering complex structural engineering projects across mining and industrial sectors.
  • •Current Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) accreditation and Engineers Australia (MIEAust) membership are required.
  • •Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
  • •Proven experience leading mining and industrial projects, coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces, and delivering through design and construction phases.
  • •Advanced proficiency in structural engineering software including SpaceGass and Strand7 (IDEA StatiCa experience highly regarded).
