Lead and grow a Protection & Control engineering team for HV substations, delivering P&C design, relay settings, and SCADA diagrams for global transmission projects. Key Responsibilities

•Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Protection & Control engineers and technical specialists.
•Develop, refine and optimise P&C solutions including creation of key line diagrams, schematic diagrams, relay settings, SCADA topology diagrams, wiring diagrams, design specifications, interface drawings etc. for various Transmission & Distribution clients.
•Owner’s Engineers role, to review and comment on supplier designs and calculations on behalf of HV Clients, including BESS and Renewables projects.
•Conduct Protection Coordination Studies and Settings calculations where required using ETAP or similar software (desired).
•Coordinate across multi-disciplinary engineering environments and project managers.

Key Requirements

•Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
•12-15 years of work experience is preferred.
•Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization (e.g., Institution of Electrical Engineers, UK).
•Experience leading large design engineering teams performing Grid Substation design in a global consultancy firm is preferred.
•Experience in HV Plant Design for EHV Grid Substations is mandatory.
