Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete parts of the underwriting process with oversight, including credit risk assessment and loan structure analysis.
  • •Update financial covenants as needed and run Probability of Default (PD) models with oversight.
  • •Support portfolio managers’ daily underwriting and credit monitoring, and evaluate completed spreads for necessary edits.
  • •Use Credit Service reporting and RADAR to identify and recommend preliminary portfolio management actions with some oversight.
  • •Create client presentation materials and assist with opportunity memos, prospect qualification, and relationship manager projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • •Relevant internships and co-op experience.
  • •Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • •Strong analytical skills and ability to assess credit risk using financial statement and cash flow analysis, collateral, guarantor, and loan structure analysis.
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
