Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor commercial performance for cost, incentives, defined cost vs target, and KPIs using dashboards and trend analysis; visit site routinely to identify and escalate risks with corrective actions.
  • •Commercial assurance of change control by ensuring scope definition, pricing method, risk allowances and audit trail are followed and that changes provide value for money.
  • •Plan and implement close-out and rolling final account settlement.
  • •Manage risk by reviewing threats and opportunities and reporting net effects to scheme forecasts.
  • •Endorse and validate NEC4 ECC KPIs and incentives, verify monthly submissions and governance before triggering payments.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience in commercial management within construction of major programmes and projects
  • •Strong knowledge of construction contracts (NEC and/or JCT preferred)
  • •Excellent cost control, reporting, and collaboration skills
  • •Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or related field
  • •Professional membership (or working towards) RICS, CIOB, or equivalent
