Job Summary

Perform electrical installation and troubleshooting in an industrial manufacturing environment. Install devices like limit switches, lights, encoders, and e-stops; pull wire, make terminations, and wire new equipment from electrical drawings. Diagnose and resolve control and wiring issues, including troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLCs, while testing components with meters. Also support light mechanical work and work independently as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Install electrical devices such as limit switches, lights, encoders, and e-stops.
•Pull wire and make terminations for the complete electrical system for equipment.
•Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs and resolve controls and wiring issues.
•Install and wire new equipment per electrical drawings.
•Perform light mechanical work and work independently as needed.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience.
•At least 4 years of electrical experience preferred.
•Able to read and interpret drawings and electrical schematics.
•Test electrical components with various meters to identify shorts, worn/weak components, and defective connections.
•Ability to use power hand tools and measure (e.g., tape measure), including working with voltages up to 480.
