Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker I in a Financial Center role, using a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to identify customer needs and build strong relationships. After a 4–8 week onboarding program, meet production and customer experience goals through cross-selling, outreach using CAMP and approved marketing tools, and outside sales activities. Manage teller transactions, process consumer loans and bankcards, and support referrals with business partners while following risk and ethics policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, followed by a certification to perform as a Retail Personal Banker I.
•Use consultative sales and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain product/service knowledge for retail consumer and small business solutions and recommend options aligned to customer needs.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers, set appointments, and support periodic financial reviews.
•Process teller transactions, participate in consumer loan and bankcard processes (from application through closing), and support opening/closing activities as directed.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at the time of employment.
