Job Summary

Provide subject matter expert engineering support for aerospace MRO production, repair, overhaul, and testing of electrical power and control systems. Troubleshoot complex hardware, manufacturing, and test issues to reduce downtime and improve product flow. Improve testing and manufacturing processes, develop and maintain work instructions, lead root-cause and Lean continuous improvement initiatives, and mentor junior engineers while partnering with operations, quality, supply chain, and internal engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide subject matter expert engineering support for production, repair, overhaul, and testing activities in an aerospace MRO environment.
•Troubleshoot complex hardware, manufacturing, and test issues to minimize downtime and improve product flow.
•Diagnose failures and improve functional testing operations and test equipment reliability.
•Analyze manufacturing and repair processes to drive quality, efficiency, standardization, and cost reduction improvements.
•Lead root-cause investigations, corrective actions, Lean continuous improvement initiatives, and support TPM activities; mentor junior engineers.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant engineering experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience.
•Engineering experience supporting production environments through technical problem solving and process improvements.
•Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware, manufacturing, and test-related issues.
•Experience with functional testing operations, including diagnosing failures and improving test processes.
•Experience supporting manufacturing/repair instructions, process documentation, and engineering procedures.
