Job Summary

Support the Kroger account team by driving forecast accuracy, trade reconciliation, and routine performance reporting. Manage customer planning and event execution through trade systems, including item/pricing updates and contract maintenance. Partner closely with Customer Development Managers, finance, and Kroger category management to resolve discrepancies and maintain audit-ready documentation. Use Power BI (e.g., BOSS, Customer Experience) and analytics to identify variance drivers and provide actionable insights during retail store visits.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain demand forecasts using shipments, consumption trends, and customer data; support forecast review and forecast lock.
•Reconcile trade and update tracking grids, including monitoring performance vs. forecast accuracy targets and identifying variance root causes.
•Use Power BI applications and reporting standards to build, publish, and maintain routine reports, and support CDMs in becoming proficient users of reporting tools.
•Enter and maintain customer and internal event plans in trade systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with planning timelines.
•Maintain item set-ups, location updates, price changes, and contracts in Kroger’s systems; interface with Kroger category management support and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 63,000 - 107,000

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
•2+ years of experience in category management sales and/or consumer insights.
•Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, with proficiency in analytical/reporting tools like Power BI preferred.
•Strong verbal and written presentation communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.
•Strong financial acumen and experience with trade spend, deductions, and period close processes, with attention to detail and process management.
