Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in the integration and development of the A220 primary FBW flight control system.
  • •Define and agree FBW system interfaces with other aircraft systems.
  • •Define system and component-level requirements to meet technical program objectives.
  • •Conduct technical investigations, analyze problems, develop solutions, and perform trade studies.
  • •Support system architecture/component definition and evaluate supplier designs through validation and verification activities, coordinating for design, testing, certification, and support to certification authorities.

Key Requirements

  • •Proactive interest in the aerospace industry and systems integration.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent) and 5+ years of experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of specification, design, integration, test, and certification of flight control systems and/or components.
  • •Experience with system development processes based on ARP4754, including requirements decomposition from aircraft to component level.
  • •Knowledge of RTCA DO-160 and DO-178, and familiarity with FAR 25 / CS 525 certification processes.
