Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and ship internal AI tools and features end to end, from rough idea through deployed and maintained product.
  • •Set technical direction and reusable patterns for the AI Engineering team, raising the company engineering bar by example.
  • •Design and deploy LLM and agentic systems (retrieval, tool use, orchestration, and evaluation) with guardrails and humans in charge where needed.
  • •Partner with engineering, hardware, operations, and other teams to turn ideas into working tools teams can own.
  • •Create shared components, templates, and infrastructure, optimize models for cost/latency/reliability, and instrument usage and quality; mentor teammates to grow talent fast.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep software-engineering expertise shipping and operating production software at scale (primarily Python), with strong testing, code review, CI/CD, and documentation practices.
  • •Substantial hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications, including prompt/agent design, tool/function calling with MCP-based integrations, retrieval-augmented generation, and rigorous evaluation.
  • •Proven experience building or integrating agentic systems and agentic coding workflows that safely take actions against real systems.
  • •Architectural judgment to design systems others build on and deliver end to end across backend services, APIs, light front-end, and deployment.
  • •High autonomy to carry projects from idea to production in ambiguity, plus a demonstrated record of shipped impact.
