Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; diagnose issues using real-time data
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing equipment
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and at customer locations, and perform repairs
  • •When required, travel to customer job sites to perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors
  • •Maintain daily paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed, assist with pick-up/delivery, and support lower level technician training as needed

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position
  • •Experience maintaining and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections
  • •Read and know schematics and calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
  • •EPA 608 certification preferred (or able to obtain within 6–12 months), plus High School/trade school preferred
