Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce machine parts by programming, assembling, and operating CNC or manual machines (lathes, mills, grinders, and other specialized equipment).
  • •Interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, specifications, and GD&T to meet operation, material, and dimensional requirements.
  • •Assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts into sub-units or complete units using mechanical equipment.
  • •Perform machining setups, make adjustments, and conduct inspections of work produced.
  • •Check SPC charts, maintain quality/safety records, follow EHS/Quality/CI guidelines, and support extended shifts/overtime as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires an HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • •Certification in the core discipline with 4–5 months of employment.
  • •Certification on multiple programs labeled as moderate to difficult in complexity.
  • •Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating CNC machining centers.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively across disciplines and cells to resolve issues quickly.
