Job Summary

Own community development corporate banking relationships for Community Development Loans (CDL) and Community Development Investments (CDI) over $1,000,000, retaining and growing a portfolio and meeting management-set goals. Work with the CRA Officer to identify geographic and product needs, cultivate new business, and cross-sell banking products. Support underwriting and credit-quality standards for LIHTC, New Markets Tax Credit, CDFIs, and other instruments while building stakeholder relationships and monitoring performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the primary corporate banking representative for CDL/CDI community development relationships over $1,000,000.
•Retain and grow a portfolio and meet annual goals established by management.
•Cultivate new business, cross-sell to meet client needs, and deepen relationships.
•Underwrite or assist with underwriting LIHTC, New Markets Tax Credit, CDFIs, and other community development instruments.
•Ensure credit quality standards, monitor performance, report credit deterioration, and support credit collection and mitigation of losses.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Finance-related field, and/or equivalent experience required.
•Minimum of five (5) years of community development finance experience.
•Demonstrated business development skills preferred.
•Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence others, plus strong computer and analytical skills.
•Valid driver’s license and travel, including some overnight stays, are required.
