Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out assigned civil design and documentation delegated to support technical and commercial standards
  • •Produce drawings and drafting requirements for assigned project(s) and adhere to prescribed drafting standards and procedures
  • •Communicate effectively with external multidisciplinary consultants and internal managers, engineers, and colleagues
  • •May serve as a project leader depending on project complexity/needs
  • •Provide mentoring and guidance, check subordinate work for accuracy and adherence to civil design intent and assumptions, and perform documentation quality reviews

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • •Registered Civil Engineer with relevant licensure regulatory board
  • •Good English communication skills
  • •Ideally 10+ years’ industry experience on Australian civil engineering projects across sectors (e.g., commercial, residential, industrial, subdivisions, roads)
  • •Highly developed civil design and drafting skills in a consulting engineering environment, including working to standards/codes (AS/NZS 3500, NCC)
