Key Responsibilities

  • •Create high-quality technical video content (tutorials, demos, explainers, live coding) and write technical blogs, notebooks, and guides.
  • •Build creative technical demos highlighting use cases for evaluation, tracing, and observability.
  • •Engage with developer communities (Discord, Slack, Reddit, GitHub) and represent the brand at events, conferences, meetups, and hackathons.
  • •Identify and engage influential developers and open source contributors; run or support technical workshops and community programming.
  • •Surface developer sentiment and friction points to Product and Engineering; act as a voice of the community within the company.

Salary: USD 180,000 - 250,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in developer advocacy, developer education, or a closely adjacent technical role.
  • •Genuine immersion in the AI ecosystem and familiarity with key researchers, practitioners, open source projects, and communities.
  • •Strong video content chops: ability to script, record, edit, and publish technical video content without a production team.
  • •Technical depth: comfortable coding in Python, building LLM applications, and discussing evals, agents, and observability.
  • •Preferably based in San Francisco or the Bay Area; embedded in the local AI scene and able to represent Opik at events.
