Key Responsibilities

  • •Gather and analyze financial data, calculate credit metrics, identify risks and mitigants, and coordinate with third-party resources to ensure accuracy.
  • •Model clients’ future financial performance, including downside scenarios, and prepare thorough credit underwriting documents covering risks, mitigants, and industry/market considerations.
  • •Manage approval processes for lending commitments, amendments, waivers, and consents, including monitoring and recommendations to credit executives as appropriate.
  • •Review, maintain, and ensure legal documentation accurately reflects approvals; negotiate through counsel on agented transactions where needed.
  • •Monitor ongoing portfolio performance to track covenant compliance and risk ratings, identify problem accounts, and support client relationships through presentations and site visits as appropriate.

Salary: USD 96,000 - 181,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of commercial underwriting, credit, banking and/or financial services experience; Commercial and Industrial (C&I) underwriting strongly preferred.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in finance, accounting, economics and/or business (required).
  • •Demonstrated competence in financial analysis and modeling (required).
  • •Strong ability to gather research, analyze data, and synthesize information to assess corporate creditworthiness and build a detailed underwriting package (required).
  • •Competent with Microsoft Office and ability to learn and use other technology applications; experience structuring financial covenants for syndicated debt facilities and managing left lead/administrative agent roles (required).
