Key Responsibilities

•Define and maintain the architectural blueprint for the NG911 call-handling platform, ensuring alignment with NG911 interoperability requirements and regulatory frameworks
•Guide design decisions related to system scalability, fault tolerance, real-time communications, geospatial routing, and cybersecurity
•Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to advance platform capabilities (cloud-native services, AI/ML for dispatch support, GIS integration)
•Lead long-term technical planning and establish architectural roadmaps that align with NG911 evolution and organizational goals
•Coordinate with public safety agencies, telecom providers, and government partners to ensure NG911 mandates and standards compliance and serve as SME for NG911 call-handling software

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
•10+ years of experience in software architecture or engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
•Proven experience with large-scale, real-time, mission-critical systems—preferably in public safety, telecom, or defense sectors
•Strong understanding of NG911 standards (e.g., NENA i3), SIP/RTP protocols, CAD systems, and geospatial data systems (GIS)
•Expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and secure cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or hybrid)
