Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform end-to-end substation engineering design review, QA/QC, commissioning, energization, and sustaining for a 138kV electrical substation’s protection & controls, including utility coordination.
  • •Conduct electrical modeling using ETAP to support electrical system design and studies.
  • •Manage power quality through sag/swell analysis and related power quality assessments.
  • •Apply continuous improvement principles to harden the site against voltage sag and other power quality issues.
  • •Mentor and provide technical development for junior engineers and assist in handover of systems to operational ownership.
