Job Summary

Develop detailed designs for medium-voltage electric distribution systems (120/240V–24.9kV) for overhead and underground infrastructure. Create construction-ready drawings and support system layouts, material estimates, and project execution from design through construction. Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams, conduct engineering studies and field investigations, maintain quality control, and help prepare technical reports, presentations, and site Health & Safety Plans.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop detailed designs for medium-voltage electric distribution systems, including overhead and underground infrastructure.
•Produce construction-ready drawings, system layouts, and material estimates using design tools.
•Coordinate with clients and internal teams to support project execution from design through construction.
•Assist with engineering studies, surveys, and analysis of field investigation data to inform design decisions and risk mitigation.
•Support quality control, prepare reports/presentations, and help develop and implement site Health and Safety Plans (HASPs).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
•3–5 years designing medium-voltage power distribution systems in utility or industrial/commercial environments.
•Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
•Proficiency in GISWorks Distribution Design Studio (DDS).
•Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and applicable laws/codes/regulations, plus experience with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.
