Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee accounting operations including general ledger, AR, AP, inventory, and payroll; produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • •Lead month-end and year-end close, including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • •Manage cash flow and liquidity, including AR aging, customer credit policies, and vendor payment optimization
  • •Oversee inventory accounting and reconciliation, including inventory valuation, variances, and shrinkage
  • •Establish internal controls and ensure compliance (including sales tax and state/local regulations), support audits, and optimize processes and reporting with Sage 100

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years’ experience as a Controller or equivalent role in a small to mid-sized business
  • •Strong distribution, beverage, or consumer goods industry experience
  • •Hands-on inventory and cost accounting experience, including AR, collections, and cash flow
  • •Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • •Experience with ERP systems (preferably Sage 100)
