Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain electrical designs for modular containerized data centers, including single-line diagrams, load calculations, panel schedules, grounding, cable sizing, and raceway layouts across LV distribution standards.
  • •Run protective device coordination, arc flash, and short-circuit studies in SKM, ETAP, or equivalent, and produce labels and coordination reports for field use.
  • •Review and redline vendor submittals for UPS, battery systems, cooling distribution units, switchgear, main distribution boards, PDUs, and generator/ATS packages.
  • •Support manufacturing partners by answering RFIs, resolving layout and cable/piping routing conflicts, and participating in factory witness testing.
  • •Contribute to multi-jurisdictional electrical/fire/facility code compliance with AHJs and support field commissioning and troubleshooting, including occasional international travel.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
  • •3–7 years of post-degree experience in electrical design, including at least 2 years in data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial power, or equivalent power distribution work.
  • •Working knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70) and ideally one or more IEC-based national codes, with multi-jurisdictional design experience a plus.
  • •Hands-on protection coordination and arc flash studies using SKM PowerTools, ETAP, EasyPower, or similar software.
  • •Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and/or Revit MEP and Bluebeam Revu (or equivalent) for submittal markup.
