Job Summary

Lead electrical engineering efforts for a new Healthcare Design Practice in Atlanta, guiding complex projects from concept through construction close-out. Coordinate and approve electrical design plans for compliance with applicable codes and regulations, apply advanced electrical engineering techniques across project phases, and oversee cross-functional engineering teams. Manage client relationships and provide technical input on pursuit work while building internal and external stakeholder relationships to grow the Property and Buildings business.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate, review, and approve electrical design plans to ensure code and regulatory compliance and data integrity.
•Apply high-level electrical engineering techniques across concept development, preliminary/final design, procurement, construction, and operation.
•Plan and incorporate future-ready design techniques and requirements that ensure safety and functionality for end-users and infrastructure.
•Oversee and monitor cross-functional engineering teams executing mid-level and/or multiple concurrent projects, including budgets, tracking, calculations, and compliance documentation.
•Manage client relationships and provide technical input on pursuit efforts, while developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
•12+ years of relevant post-education experience in electrical engineering and infrastructure design for capital projects.
•Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
•Extensive knowledge of electrical design, particularly in the healthcare industry.
•Proficiency with electrical planning, design/build, and permitting and project work-related issues, codes, and compliance practices.
