Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaboratively design, develop, and deliver robust, unified, productized support systems for vehicle deployment, recovery, operation, and maintenance.
  • •Refine mechanical solutions for support components including launch/recovery mechanisms, handling gear, transportation/storage, and testing equipment.
  • •Select, qualify, and manage vendors for COTS components and for outsourced manufacturing/design of support systems.
  • •Define requirements, propose solutions, and establish methods for evaluating and verifying support systems.
  • •Lead design reviews, conduct analyses, visit vendors, and prototype and implement hardware test plans.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •4+ years of mechanical design and testing experience in maritime, aerospace, or defense systems.
  • •Proven CAD skills and ability to produce engineering drawings compliant with common industry standards (Siemens NX preferred).
  • •Demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills.
  • •Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
