Job Summary

Fabricate and cut maritime defense hardware parts in a high-impact production environment. Read technical drawings and CAD models, program and operate CNC water jets, oxy-acetylene cutters, plasma cutters, and shears, and design workholding/fixtures. Troubleshoot during manufacturing, perform in-process and final quality control, and support machine maintenance and a clean, well-run work area in partnership with engineering.

Key Responsibilities

•Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
•Program, set up, and operate CNC water jets, oxy-acetylene cutters, plasma cutters, and shears.
•Design and implement work holding and fixture methods.
•Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments during the manufacturing process.
•Perform quality control during and at completion of manufacturing, supporting machine maintenance and work area cleanliness.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 37.02 - 49.04 hourly

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience as a cutting/fabrication technician.
•Experience with CAD software such as Siemens NX (Unigraphics).
•Experience operating CNC water jets, oxy-acetylene, and plasma machines.
•Experience using manual cutting and grinding tools (e.g., hand-grinders, plasma torches).
•Experience with Fanuc, Omax, and Siemens controls, including familiarity with alloys and GD&T plus precision measurement tools.
