Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely operate warehouse material-handling equipment to store, stage, retrieve, replenish, and load/unload products and materials for shipment.
  • •Verify accuracy and quality of products received and shipped; maintain check-in/check-out records using BOLs, receivers, pick tickets, and warehouse SOPs.
  • •Count goods returned to the plant that are damaged and/or empty, ensuring accurate handling and inventory records.
  • •Use automation systems and screens (voice pick, paper tickets, and/or other warehouse management systems) to build, finish, and verify accurate pallets/load outs and inventory counts.
  • •Identify basic machine faults and troubleshoot system errors, perform basic cleaning/maintenance, follow safety/GMP/food-safety rules, and complete assigned janitorial tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED is required.
  • •Must be able to pass the forklift skills assessment and safely operate PBV material handling equipment.
  • •Computer/Human Machine Interface skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • •Good math, reading, writing, and communication skills, including the ability to follow procedures and understand product labels and load ticket instructions.
  • •Must be able to count large quantities of products and work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
