Key Responsibilities

  • •Review documentation and computations for client projects, including voluntary disclosure agreements, nexus studies, taxability matrices, and transaction-related analysis.
  • •Prepare written tax advice on GIT matters.
  • •Track new developments from state and local jurisdictions, emphasizing GIT coverage, and generate thought leadership and service opportunities.
  • •Collaborate with other specialty groups on issues intersecting with federal, international, and state and local tax matters.
  • •Support firm-wide and external training and develop tools to provide quality service to clients.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
  • •CPA or JD required; LLM in Taxation preferred.
  • •At least six years of SALT consulting experience at a major public accounting or law firm.
  • •Preference for candidates with experience at a National Tax Office and/or IRS National office.
  • •Demonstrated success in tax technical work with strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
