Job Summary

Lead global indirect tax (GIT) advisory work for a range of clients by researching and consulting on complex GIT technical issues. Review client documentation and computations, prepare written tax advice, and track state and local developments to identify risks and service opportunities. Partner across specialty tax teams, support training, and help develop tools that improve quality client service, while managing and developing staff.

Key Responsibilities

•Review documentation and computations for client projects, including voluntary disclosure agreements, nexus studies, taxability matrices, and transaction-related analysis.
•Prepare written tax advice on GIT matters.
•Track new developments from state and local jurisdictions, emphasizing GIT coverage, and generate thought leadership and service opportunities.
•Collaborate with other specialty groups on issues intersecting with federal, international, and state and local tax matters.
•Support firm-wide and external training and develop tools to provide quality service to clients.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 217,580 - 236,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
•CPA or JD required; LLM in Taxation preferred.
•At least six years of SALT consulting experience at a major public accounting or law firm.

•Demonstrated success in tax technical work with strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
