Key Responsibilities

  • •Run interactive planning sessions to establish the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).
  • •Monitor project risks, issues, resources, and CPM, supporting the Project Controls Manager and Resident Engineer and ensuring compliance with standards/codes.
  • •Develop schedule baselines and different schedule levels, and create scenarios (before and after) plus schedule variance inputs for analysis.
  • •Perform critical path analysis and evaluate schedule performance impacts on project completion; provide early identification of progress issues threatening delivery and support recovery actions.
  • •Mentor junior and intermediate staff; coordinate schedulers and support changes procedures and “what-if” schedule scenario development with project managers.

Key Requirements

  • •8-12 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably with offshore wind or offshore O&G or marine industry experience.
  • •Demonstrated Project Controls capability and proven skills using Primavera and Microsoft planning products (e.g., Primavera Project Management, Primavera Risk Analysis, Microsoft Project).
  • •Understanding of the Project Controls function aligned to schedule management, cost management, change management, and risk/opportunity management.
  • •Experience creating and analyzing schedules, including critical path analysis to identify deliverables with float and those that cannot slip.
  • •Degree holder; Arts/commerce/Science/Engineering plus MBA-Operations management or a diploma/certificate in Project Management is an asset; PMP is an advantage.
