Job Summary

Perform electrical installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant machinery and equipment to minimize downtime. Respond to electrical breakdowns across LV-MV motors, switchboards, MCCs, transformers, UPS, VFDs, breakers, and soft starters; carry out preventive and predictive maintenance with minimal supervision. Diagnose failures, select tools and parts, use SAP to manage spares and maintenance records, and ensure work complies with EHS and plant safety requirements while improving equipment performance through 5S and safety initiatives.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Attend electrical equipment breakdowns and perform planned, preventive, and predictive maintenance with minimum direction and supervision.
•Identify abnormalities; repair, replace, re-assemble, and test equipment while keeping the work area clean.
•Diagnose electrical breakdowns/failures and troubleshoot equipment with minimum or no direction.
•Use SAP to order spare parts and maintain records of completed maintenance work.
•Ensure maintenance work follows safety procedures and plant operational requirements; monitor repeated breakdowns and recommend modifications.

Key Requirements

•Diploma in a relevant field.
•Completion of PEC Craft Training.
•3 years of relevant experience in a heavy industry after Diploma.
•No experience required after completion of PEC Training.
•Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings, manuals, and instructions.
