Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the HSE focal point for allocated locations to ensure implementation of the Health and Safety Management System and enforce an HSE culture.
  • •Carry out fire safety inspections across DHCM properties and facilities and ensure communities, infrastructure, and auxiliaries meet health and safety standards and statutory requirements.
  • •Attend and manage HSE incidents, accidents, and near misses; investigate and implement corrective actions, maintain records, and prepare trend analysis reports.
  • •Monitor and audit contractor and service provider HSE performance, including H&S audits, reviews/approvals of H&S documents, and meeting/permitting coordination.
  • •Perform regular risk assessments, prepare inspection and audit plans, support training and customer complaint handling, ensure ISO compliance and internal audits, and produce weekly/monthly HSE reports with documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related HSE discipline, with Lead Auditor certification in ISO 45001.
  • •Minimum 3 years of HSE experience within facilities management, community management, large-scale projects, or shopping mall environments.
  • •Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, including IMS development, implementation, maintenance, compliance management, and continuous improvement.
  • •Understanding of international HSE standards and regulations, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, WELL certification requirements, and UAE Fire & Life Safety (FLS) / NFPA codes.
  • •Proficiency in HSE management applications and Microsoft Office; NEBOSH IGC Level 3 is considered an advantage.
