•Build and maintain cutting-edge national security products using C++ and modern standards.
•Develop new capabilities for international customers, staying current by cross-training into new technologies.
•Work in an Agile scrum team and use supporting tooling such as Jira.
•Diagnose and troubleshoot systems remotely, supporting reliable operation.
•Lead a small team of developers and interface with clients.

Key Requirements

•Develop software in C++ using modern standards, including performance-focused code and concurrency techniques, plus third-party/open-source libraries such as Boost.
•Have detailed Linux development knowledge, including build systems, tools, compilers, kernel, and drivers.
•Understand computer networking and deep packet inspection (TCP/IP, plus HTTP, DNS, DHCP, and tunnelling protocols such as GTP, MPLS, and L2TP).
•Be proficient with complementary languages/technologies such as Ruby, Python, Puppet, and Bash.
