•Prepare and cook food items according to SOP to ensure consistent quality.
•Maintain sanitation standards according to SOP and FDA/OSHA requirements.
•Prepare dishes for customers, including special requests regarding food allergies or intolerances.
•Portion items per SOP/recipe guidelines, restock during shift, and store unused food properly.
•Control food waste and follow reporting procedures for accidents/incidents per GCU/OSHA guidelines; may assist other kitchen areas as needed.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
•Minimum 1 year experience; preferred 3 years in a high-volume/demand hospitality venue.
•Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays (rotating schedule).
•Obtain a Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card at your own expense prior to starting.
•Must have work authorization documents for the United States and be able to speak, read, and write English fluently; must pass a background check.
