Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Legal Studies lessons for students.
  • •Teach core legal concepts such as constitutional law, criminal law, civil law, human rights, and legal systems (local and international).
  • •Align lesson plans and assessments with the approved curriculum and UAE Ministry of Education requirements (where applicable).
  • •Develop students’ critical thinking, research, debate, and case-analysis skills.
  • •Assess, record, and report on student progress using formative and summative assessment methods and communicate with parents and leadership about progress

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • •Teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent)
  • •Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Legal Studies or a related subject at secondary level
  • •Familiarity with UAE MOE curriculum or international curricula is preferred
  • •Strong knowledge of legal concepts and contemporary legal issues
