Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely and efficiently collect samples from asphalt, concrete, aggregate plants, and job sites.
  • •Set up, operate, and maintain nuclear density gauges for asphalt and soil compaction.
  • •Perform field tests for density and other properties, and promptly report non-compliant tests to the project superintendent when applicable.
  • •Process samples using testing equipment and procedures, and record data in computer systems.
  • •Maintain cleanliness and perform general maintenance and cleanup duties as assigned, communicating with plant staff and supervisors as needed.
