Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct field measurements of vibration data and analyze rotating equipment issues using data acquisition hardware and software.
  • •Support and improve rotating equipment condition monitoring programs (vibration, lubrication, and thermography) and performance monitoring programs.
  • •Work at client sites performing routine data collection and occasionally troubleshooting vibration issues across machinery, piping, and/or structures.
  • •Identify opportunities to improve client equipment reliability, availability, and performance, translating insights into recommended actions.
  • •Prepare written reports and manage assigned tasks/projects to ensure on-time delivery, within scope and budget, while following Wood HSSE policies.
Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree / technologist for a Field Vibration Engineer position.
  • •VCAT 2 / ISO Category II certification or higher is a requirement.
  • •Experience working with industrial machinery and conducting vibration data collection/analysis.
  • •Thermography and lube oil analysis experience is an asset.
  • •Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States, without sponsorship from Wood.
