Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide legal guidance on U.S. government contract compliance, including FAR, DFARS, DPAS, domestic preference requirements, and representations/certifications.
  • •Develop and enhance government contract compliance policies, procedures, tools, controls, and training to support risk management and readiness.
  • •Monitor regulatory developments and lead legal oversight for supplier/product screening, investigations, remediation, audits, and site risk assessments.
  • •Serve on the Cybersecurity Incident Response Team, coordinating privilege strategy, regulatory assessment, notifications, and communications during cyber incidents.
  • •Advise on secure product development and regulatory readiness (e.g., CMMC, NIST 800-171/800-53, DFARS 252.204-7012, SEC cybersecurity rules), and structure/negotiates security terms in agreements while monitoring emerging legislation.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant legal experience advising on government contracts and cybersecurity matters.
  • •J.D. (or equivalent) and admitted to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction.
  • •Proven expertise across FAR, DFARS, DPAS, domestic preference requirements, DFARS 252.204-7012, NIST SP 800-171/800-53, CMMC, and SEC cybersecurity disclosure rules.
