Job Summary

Build an interactive web and 3D/CAD review application that brings design-review decisions, annotations, and revision history directly into the model. Join a new team inside Forge to set technical direction across browser experiences, 3D visualization, geometry processing, and backend workflows. You’ll process large, complex CAD files reliably, partner with mechanical engineers and designers, and lead cross-boundary investigations to take the tool from pilot to trusted production service.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and build the CAD model review, annotation, and revision workflow, including browser rendering and data models capturing decision history.
•Set technical direction across the stack, including interactive web experiences, 3D visualization, client/server rendering, native compute pipelines, and large-file performance.
•Partner with mechanical engineers and designers to convert manufacturing-intent feedback and review workflows into software used daily.
•Process large, complex, and often untrusted CAD and geometry files reliably and performantly.
•Define how the domain product extends the Forge platform and lead cross-boundary investigations to productionize pilot capabilities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years building and operating complex production software, including leading ambiguous technical initiatives.
•Deep proficiency with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
•Strong experience with API design, data modeling, and asynchronous processing.
•Experience building and debugging performance-sensitive interactive applications with spatial and 2D/3D data.
•U.S. Person status is required for access to export-controlled data.
