Job Summary

As a Sr. Software Engineer in Windows Agent, you will design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI-powered endpoint security solutions. You’ll collaborate with architects, project managers, developers, QA, and UI designers to deliver features across the full lifecycle, leverage AI-native tools, and help advance Trend Micro’s AI-driven security platform protecting customers across clouds, networks, and devices.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, test, deploy, and support high-quality software solutions in collaboration with architects, PMs, developers, QA, and UI designers.
•Lead and participate in requirement discussions, cross-team integration, and issue resolution to ensure customer needs are met.
•Deliver features through the full development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and operation.
•Create and execute test cases and scripts to validate functionality, performance, reliability, and security.
•Troubleshoot and debug complex issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
•Familiarity with AI-native development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and maintaining consistent AI configurations.
•Established a repeatable AI-native development workflow across every stage of the development lifecycle.
•Familiarity with context engineering practices and leveraging or building agent tools (e.g., AI Agent Skills, MCP servers).
•Familiarity with Windows and ability to troubleshoot environment/system-related issues; familiarity with one of the programming languages (C/C++, C#, Python, Golang, Rust).
