Job Summary

Serve as the primary day-to-day client interface for large-scale data center construction, delivering disciplined, value-driven cost management with a strong heavy-civil and site-development focus. Lead estimating, cost planning, change-order negotiation, valuations, and post-contract cost control. Partner with design teams and general contractors to develop and validate estimates, produce client-ready reporting, support value engineering, and provide mentoring and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the primary day-to-day client interface on large-scale data center construction projects.
•Estimate, negotiate, and manage change orders across the construction lifecycle, focused on sitework, earthworks, utilities, and civil packages.
•Develop, review, and validate cost estimates with design teams and general contractors; reconcile changes and ensure contractor data is complete and substantiated.
•Conduct quantity surveying, cost control, valuations, contingency tracking, and commitment logs across civil and infrastructure scopes.
•Prepare monthly cost reports for client decision-making and support final accounts negotiation, while mentoring and leading team members.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
•6–7 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry, including heavy civil or large-scale infrastructure work applicable to data center/mission critical environments.
•Experience supporting complex, fast-paced construction programs with significant site development components.
•RICS accreditation (or actively working toward accreditation) is preferred.
•Candidates must be physically based in the United States and legally authorized to work in the U.S.; remote work is permitted only within the United States.
